The foundation of any building is the most important part. The Tower of Pisa, which was built on marshy ground only three meters above sea level, is now famous for the way it “leans.” If something is wrong in a foundation, as it was for the Tower of Pisa, the effects are sure to be seen. The foundation of our Christian faith must be Jesus Christ and His Word. This series of teachings provides biblical truths, along with modern-day stories and practical examples, that will help you lay a strong spiritual foundation in your Christian life. I am committed to helping you build a solid foundation.
We need to make Jesus Christ the foundation of our lives. With a strong foundation on Christ, we will be able to stand in faith, even when storms are raging. Being a Christian is all about having a relationship with the living God. It is not about being in a Christian family or living in a Christian nation. Christ wants to walk with us and know us personally. This is the foundation of our faith.
It is God’s intention that the beauty of His creation will point us to Him. In nature, we find evidence that God exists. The Creator of this amazing universe wants to have a personal relationship with you! He wants to know you and be your closest friend.
We can know God the Father through knowing Jesus. We were created to live in a close, loving relationship with God. Because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they were alienated from God. But God continued to reach out to them. We can relate to God, Creator of the universe, through accepting and believing in Jesus Christ. Some believe there are many ways to reach God. They might be sincere in what they believe, but they are wrong, nonetheless. The Bible clearly states that Jesus Christ is the only way to God.
